Goals of the United Nations - The Journey So Far
Introduction: The agenda of the conference is to provide a
platform for debating and showcasing the
achievements and failures of development
activities in various discipline especially
agriculture, environment and sustainable
development in many parts of the world as it
relates to the millennium development goals of
the United Nations. As 2015 deadline to
achieving these goals is fast approaching,
there is a need for forums to access
and evaluate different development
programmes and projects to know the way
forward so as to make seven years to come,
a reality.
Who Should attend: The Conference will be of interest to those
involved in agriculture, environment,
sustainable development and social work. It will
serve as a platform for cross fertilization of ideas.
Call for Papers: Interested participants are invited to submit a
paper and/or poster abstract on any of the
conference topics. Authors must forward their
abstract as MS Word attachment to
info@cefard.org , with "IDC 2008 Abstract" at
the subject column.
Abstract must not be more than 350 words and
must be in the order as shown below:

The deadline for submission is August 2008.
Confirmation of abstract acceptance will
be communicated to the corresponding
authors by October 2008.
